fly the flagTrust in God Woven Into 'Fabric' of Star-Spangled Banner
As the frequency of exploding bombs slowed and finally stopped, the acrid, smoke-filled air began to clear. The young man picked up a spy glass and quickly made his way to the rain-drenched deck of the sloop. The sun hovered just below the horizon, promising, at least temporarily, a respite from the rain.
